Galaxy S III Laris Manis, Samsung Ready "smoke" Apple

After ejecting Nokia from the position of number one mobile phone manufacturer in the world, Samsung smartphone sales numbers the farther left the rival magnitude, Apple.

As explained by the results of 41 polling analyst quoted by Reuters, Samsung's success is partly thanks to the great demand for the model Samsung flagship smartphone, Galaxy S III.

Samsung is also doing a large-scale marketing campaign to support sales of the product.

Samsung and Apple are competing for a quarter of the largest in terms of smartphone sales, but the Galaxy S III, which was launched last May has put Samsung at a position above the wind.

In the 2012 second quarter ended June 30, Samsung is estimated to have sold as many as 50 million units of smartphones, compared to Apple's iPhone sales estimates as many as 30.5 million units.

Analyst with market research agency International Data Corporation (IDC), Francisco Jeronimo said that Samsung smartphone sales volume could be the largest in a single quarter ever recorded from a single vendor.

"This is due to strong demand for the Galaxy product line, especially the Galaxy S II and S III," he explained.

Samsung's broad portfolio of smartphones the company has been profitable from Korea is in competition with Apple, which depends on sales figures of the next generation iPhone release schedule.

From the viewpoint of the mobile market in general, including cheap phone (feature phone), Samsung is estimated to have sold 15.7 million units of products more than Nokia in the second quarter of this year.

In the first quarter, sales were 3.4 million units higher than the Finnish mobile phone vendor who had held the title of world's largest mobile phone manufacturer for 14 years.

In the U.S., Apple is trying to scuttle the Samsung through a series of lawsuits related to patent infringement. So far Apple has managed to stop the sale of two products to Samsung, the tablet Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Galaxy Nexus smartphone. Galaxy S III also includes a product that is said to violate Apple's patents
